Room Parents and Party Money

ROOM PARENTS NEEDED

This year the PTO has decided to try a new approach to parties. We will be providing the crafts with the money collected for each class.

BUT…..We are still in need of a head room parent for PreK thru 5th grade classes. This person would be responsible for purchasing paper products, additional food and to help organize our classroom parties (Halloween, Holiday Party in December, and Valentine’s Day) throughout the year.

As room parent, you will be the person who will come in to help set up the party by putting out the food, plates, napkins, etc. and helping the students with the crafts that the PTO will be providing. We will not be asking for parents to provide food for each party this year, as we will have set food items that will be purchased with the remainder of the party money.

If you are interested in being a head room parent or an “assistant”, please fill in the form sent home, indicating your name, child’s name, the classroom you will be helping and your phone number. The PTO thanks you in advance for your support and we wish you all happy party planning! If you have any questions about being a room parent, please do not hesitate to contact the PTO at MorrisvillePTO@hotmail.com.

PARTY MONEY

The PTO will be collecting $5.00 per student to help cover the cost of the 3 main classroom parties.
(Halloween, Holiday Party and Valentine’s Day).

This year the PTO will be using the money to purchase the crafts in advance for the parties. Money that is left over will be given to the room parent to purchase paper products and food for the class. This will allow for each class to have the same amount of money.
